The Most Powerful of All

Today I received a reminder of the most excellent tool of all that we possess. Despite knowing of its power to shift perception, clear energy, and change lives, I must admit I have been remiss in employing it. Why would I not use such a treasure? I am chagrined to say that I fell prey to the busyness of daily life and exhaustion at day’s end, causing me to forget its value. In essence, it is a reminder to open my heart and to cease being complacent. Heeding the message, from this moment forward, it will be uppermost in my mind.

Of the three tools—Choice, Awareness, and Gratitude—we have at our disposal to attain all we desire in our lives, the most powerful is gratitude for it has the potential to create change, transformation, and growth.

“Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings.” — William Arthur Ward

I know I do not tell you anything new. That is precisely the point. Most of us have personally experienced the benefits, nay the miracles, that thankfulness brings into our lives, yet days pass without a word of thanksgiving. All the marvelous gifts that we receive almost effortlessly when we sincerely appreciate and are grateful escapes our memory.

“A grateful heart is a magnet for miracles.”

It is such an easy practice too. If we but write every morning or evening at least three things for which we are grateful, we elevate our vibration to that of unconditional love, the highest frequency there is. From there, we have narrowed the gap from where we are to where we wish to be.

When you write down the things you appreciate, it not only makes them real but also increases conscious and subconscious awareness. If you desire to test the validity of the power of gratitude as well as change your point of focus in the process, continue to be grateful and appreciative for 68 seconds. Do not let any negative or contradictory thought enter into your mind. The aim is to feel happy. If you manage to continue purely focusing on something for as little as 68 seconds, the vibration is powerful enough that its manifestation begins. Why would you not wish to do that!

Being grateful for what you have makes so much sense. It turns everything into an opportunity and a blessing for it stops you from focusing on what you lack. Being thankful provides you with what you desire and more. If you look for the positive aspect of any situation and are appreciative, your world becomes unrecognizable.

“If the only prayer you ever say in your life is ‘thank you’ that would suffice. — Meister Eckhart

Are you ready to unlock the fullness of your life? Then practice gratitude daily and watch how things unfold.
