Footprints on the Heart

How many people have left their imprint on your heart? Undoubtedly, these individuals are very dear to you even if they are no longer in your life.

When someone comes along to remind you just how miraculous you are, it matters not how long they stay whether it is for a month, a year, or a day. These souls come to help you find your way back to your SELF. When the gift is received, these souls disappear as quickly as they arrived. The impact they had in your life lasts a lifetime for they left their footprints changing your life and your heart forever.

The relationship does not have to be intimate or romantic, although it can be. What is characteristic about this connection is that it reminds you of who you are, of who you came to be. It nurtures and strengthens you, illuminating your path, guiding your steps, giving you vigor and a sense of purpose for you have recalled you soul’s contract.

The relationship surfaces to remind you of your dreams, to encourage you, when you are either undergoing a difficult time or do not know what to do or where to turn. Hope is renewed to give wings to the whispers of your heart and remind you to shine your light. Your affinity for each other is immediate for you have magnetized the association into being. When you look back, there is a feeling of intensity, of wholeness, of serenity, of love. These precious souls came, in essence, to share your journey and remind you of the love within you.

And, when you awaken to more profound realizations, you know that there will be times when you are the giver rather than the receiver. You are the one who impacts someone’s life, guiding them along their path, leaving your footprints on the person’s heart.

We are here to “walk each other home,” assisting one another along our journeys for, although the way is different for each of us, the destination is the same. We are here to reunite with the whole, becoming pure love in the process.
