There I Go Again

How many times have you heard me say: you have to remain open for the outcome; you have to celebrate the closeness of the match?

A few, I dare say.

Permit me to share an experience in which it was necessary to remind myself to celebrate rather than remain fixated on the expectations of how the Universe should give me what I asked.

A few months back, I asked my Universal Manager to take care of three things. Of the three, only one that remained kept harping on my mind—Mistake #1. I did not mentally detach myself from the situation, and thus I could not emotionally let go. By continuing to focus that the marble birdbath resembled the Leaning Tower of Pisa, I remained in scarcity for I only saw what I did not have—Mistake #2.

In doing so, what was I attracting? The only thing I could, more of the same. As long as I continued to think that the birdbath was continuing to sink on one side, it would continue to do so.

Then I decided to change my tactics. Every time I saw the birdbath, I would thank the Universal Manager for taking care of this situation. It worked! On Friday, my gardener informed me that he was bringing another man with him to straighten it. They managed to excavate the site, analyze the situation, take appropriate measures to ensure the problem would not return, and straighten the birdbath in less than two hours.

But what do you think I did? Instead of being happy and celebrating the fulfillment of my wish, I fixated on the fact that I had envisioned waking up one morning to find the birdbath straight of its accord. After all, nothing is impossible for God or us, for that matter, as infinite light beings that we are.

I quickly admonished and laughed at myself. I heard my words resonating in my ears, just as I have said it countless of times to my clients. If someone hands you a gift wrapped in gold paper with a red bow and you expected the gift wrapped in silver with a blue bow, would you turn it away? No, Elena, I heard myself reply, celebrate the closeness of the match. You asked and received. My desire was to have a straight birdbath. That is what I received. How it manifested was not my responsibility. It never is. So, to celebrate, I purchased a rosebush to frame its perimeter. It looks beautiful.

Has a similar incident happened to you? No one is impervious. We fasten to an idea of how things should be rather than allowing ourselves to enjoy the miracles we receive every day.

What did I learn from this experience?—Happiness. When I allowed myself to acknowledge and recognize the gift, I opened myself to receive more miracles. A sense of calm, a knowing, a feeling of pure, unadulterated joy has taken possession of me. I am completely happy just for being. There is nothing that I cannot accomplish if I mentally detach and emotionally let go.

No, that does not mean that you cannot plan or take inspired action towards your goals or dreams. It means that once you do, you have to TRUST. Yes, believe that all is well, that the Universe is working for and with you, and that you have already energetically received what you desire. You only need to allow for its gestation for everything has its own Divine right time.

The next time you catch yourself fixating on the end results, borrow Reagan’s words and tell yourself, there I go again, to remind you to detach and let go for your desires to materialize. Doing so will teach you how to evolve through your senses by invoking your heart.

If you want to find a deeper meaning in your life, you won’t find it in the opinions or the beliefs that have been handed to you. Rather than trying to be what everyone else expects you to be, live your life by your own rules to be happy and find inner peace.

Forego self-doubt and supplant it with faith. You have everything within you at this very moment to attain your dreams. All you need to do is stay focused, listen to your inner voice, and be accountable for your actions.

You are the creator of your reality. Your feelings, thoughts, words, and expressions create that which you see in your life. If you desire to change your external circumstances, first look within for your surroundings are a reflection of your inner feelings. It is all about resonance. Whenever we think or wish for something with emotion, we send out a vibration, much like a radio wave, that merges with a similar vibration. The stronger the emotion is, the stronger the attraction, and the quicker its manifestation.

What I cannot stress enough is the importance of opening the communication with your higher self, your soul. Once you do, all doubt ceases. You tap into your inner wisdom, achieve inner peace, and find happiness just in being without needing to know why. How do you do this? All you need to do is set the intention to do so. Take

Your imagination is your own fertile field for growing any seedlings that you choose to plant for a future harvest.
